CMU President and Management Representative Candidate - Qusai MuradHello Concordia, my name is Qusai Murad. I'm a fourth-year Bachelor of Management Student, and I'm honoured for running to be your president of the Students’ Management Union. I am eager to help my fellow management students (and all Concordia students) through this position and looking forward to working with everyone in the management department.
In the past two years, I held the position of the CMU VP of operations, I also hold the position of the president of "Concordia's Self Defence Club" which teaches self-defence through Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and various martial arts to Concordia students, faculty and staff. I'm also a peer coach with students’ life and learning which is a program that aims to help first- & second-year students integrate into the university, make some friends and get a bit social during the online learning period. And through this position, I'll be working on making a difference for the students in Concordia and do my best to make their experience a memorable one, full of good memories that they can cherish for the rest of their lives. During my term, I will work hard on giving my fellow students the best sense of community which will give them a remarkable experience, further their education, and build on their skills as business leaders. I will be focused on providing the best events, workshops, and seminars, both on the professional and social aspects. Again my name is Qusai Murad and I’m running for the position of the CMU President, so please vote for me. Thank you for your consideration. |
Science Representative Candidate - Dayaveer KhanguraMy name is Dayaveer Khangura, I am a third year student of Bachelor’s Of Science in Information Technology. This year I would like to contest in the upcoming elections for the post of CSA Science Representative. As a Science student I think I will do my best to help students after being elected. I have talked to many students and I know what are the problems faced by students in both academic as well as co- curricular parts of their life. I have prepared a proper road map, by which I can help students to overcome their problems. So, if students gave me this great opportunity, to be the next Science Representative, then I will do my best to work with them. For them, I will respect the opportunity given to me and I will not let the hopes of students and faculty members down. I will do my job with full honesty and integrity.
