Concordia Pro Life provides its members and Concordia's students with opportunities to become engaged in the pro-life movement. As university students seeking to be responsible citizens, we firmly believe that all people should be well-educated about issues pertaining to bioethics, whatever their stance. We hope that by addressing these issues and providing opportunities for thoughtful discussion, we will grow as a community in understanding, ethics, health, intellectual honesty, and compassion.
Many of the opportunities we provide are projects of education and awareness, but they extend to roles of support for and outreach to those affected by these issues. All topics will have to do with human rights issues, specifically the right to life, and include abortion, euthanasia, and bioethics. We will address these topics through movies, presentations, debates, and discussions.
Whether you are studying to be a scientific researcher, a church worker, a doctor, a politician, or a journalist, educating yourself on integral aspects of bioethics and human rights is important. Join us and make sure you have the resources to make informed decisions.
