Hi Concordia, I am Abha Sharma from the Faculty of Arts. I’m in
my second year of the university doing under graduation in
Bachelors of Music and having Drama as my minor. Since my
childhood I’ve dreamt of becoming a singer and still proceed
with the same dream in my eyes for the future. Concordia has
given me a vast ocean of opportunities to portray my talent and
skills not only in music but also as a person I am becoming more
and more confident. I have been in CSA from past 5 months and
the amount of enthusiasm and confidence I’ve developed over
time. I also look forward taking up the responsibilities of CSA’s
President and stand in the election with complete authority to
fulfil them for the next term and be helpful to everybody. I
would love to have support from all of you and give back all the
help I’ve received from everyone here.
My name is Vansh. I am in my second year of Bachelor of Science in IT with math minor. I have been fond of computers and technology since my childhood. I am always curious about learning new things and keeping up with the world. One of my goal in life is learning everything I can. Apart from computers and technology I also like music and animals. I love working for nature
and animals. Concordia has given a lot of opportunities to us for building a bright future and I am very thankful for that. I am willing to do my best for all the students as well as the university by joining CSA. I hope to join CSA and help in making Concordia even better place for all with developing myself and gaining more and more knowledge.

I strive to be a leader both in and out of the classroom and provide inclusivity to my peers to meet their needs. I intend to be a representative and advocate for students in the Environmental Health program to ensure we all succeed. I plan to promote healthy and safe environments for my team and fellow classmates so that we may collaborate
successfully in any future activities. I hope to put these qualities to work as the new Environmental Health Student Union President. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering me for this position.
My name is Jessa Clarkson, and I am running for the Education Faculty Representative position. I am in my first year in the Education after-degree program at Concordia and will be the President of the Education Students Society for 2023-2024. I am qualified for this position because I work closely with the Education program and the university to provide support, information and a memorable experience to all Faculty of Education students. Running for: Management Representative &
VP Communications (Management Union)
Hey Concordia! My name is Ananya Tripathi. I am a first year student in the faculty of management. For the upcoming academic school year, I am running for the position of Management Representative. During my very short time here at Concordia, I have had the amazing opportunity to represent our university at The Rocky Mountain Business Seminar last month. I was also involved in last semester’s production of Chrysothemis. Outside of school, I volunteer with numerous homeless shelters. I look forward to getting more involved with the CSA and prove to be a voice for every Faculty of Management Student.
Running for: Arts Representative
Hey Concordia! My name is Israa Hussein. I am a third-year student in the faculty of arts. I am majoring in English with a minor in drama
And I am running for the position of Arts Representative in this CSA election for the upcoming academic year. During my time at Concordia, I have had the honor of getting to know so many different people and experience different programs taking a variety of classes and being a part of clubs throughout.
Namely, I am a contributor for The Bolt . And last semester I had the pleasure and opportunity to be a part of the school's production of Chrysothemis.
Outside of school, I do a lot for the community as I volunteer at Homeless Shelters throughout the year as well as with 4B Harm Reduction Society supporting Edmonton's houseless and vulnerable population. Through these volunteering opportunities, I have undertaken many responsibilities such as organizing events and holding accountability. These experiences have in turn allowed me the ability to assess problems and fix the situation. I hope to put many of the skills I have learned both in the concordia community and my volunteering career into the CSA and my position as arts representative.
For my entire academic career I have had the privilege of being part of so many events planned by CSA and I would love the chance to be a part of the planning and execution of many more amazing events to come. I would love to bring in even more events and build a better relationship between the students and the CSA. I hope to be the voice for my peers in the student council that bring forth your needs and concerns to the general council. I look forward to getting more involved with the CSA and the Concordia community as a whole and prove to be a voice for every Faculty of Arts Student. If elected, it will be my endeavour to represent and enhance your student experience at Concordia. Thank you for listening!
