The Education Students' Society is the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) Student Local No.6. It gives you access to a number of services provided by the ATA and delivers professional development sessions to help you begin your career as a pre-service teacher. Background
The Education Students' Society is the result of hard work and collaboration between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the two former groups, the Education Undergraduate Society and the Education Students' Union. The two groups merged in April 2015 to become one society for all education students. As long as you are enrolled in at least one education class this year or you are an education minor you are eligible for membership.
